Deccan Technical Services & Bell CSF
Deccan Technical Services (DTS) is a unit of Deccan Charters Ltd. We have been approved by Bell Helicopters Textron, one of the most reputed manufacturers of civil and military helicopters in the world, to set up the first fully - approved Bell Customer Service Facility (CSF) in India. DTS has been conceived as a single - window facility and aims to be the preferred 'workshop' for helicopter maintenance in India and its neighborhood. The Bell CSF operated by Deccan Charters is a DGCA India approved facility and the only Bell CSF in India for overhaul of Bell Helicopter Components (Bell 206 B, 206 L series and Bell407) .We are also in the process of enhancing our capabilities to OH components of Bell-230, 212/412 in the near future.
Technical Facilities
Our state-of-th-art facility at Jakkur Aerodrome, Bangalore, spread over 5,500 Sq ft , comprises of an approved Technical store, Component Overhaul shop, Radio shop, Battery shop, calibration shop and Hangar floor space. It houses our Administration, Engineering and QC departments, all seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge IT to enable superior, cost effective productivity. It is also home to a separate facility, which currently houses a wheel and brake facility for ATR-42/72 and Airbus 320.
Maintenance
DTS is equipped with all resources to carry out your helicopter maintenance- licensed engineers (trained at the Bell Training Academy at Fort Worth USA), special tools and spares for Bell 206 B, Bell 206 L series, Bell 230 ,Bell 407, Bell 212, Bell 412 from Bell Textron and also spares for any type of Helicopter /Aircraft from authorised source. DTS can import helicopters, assemble and paint them to your requirements. In the event of it being difficult to fly the helicopter to our facility, our engineering team can conduct in-situ maintenance at your location. The team would, in such cases, carry all necessary equipment and tools, and ensure a high level of quality and efficiency. We also have the latest Vibration Analysis equipment (RADS-AT) to ensure that your helicopter flies smoothly. With the RADS-AT, vibration is eliminated, reducing wear and tear on all rotating components. This reduces maintenance costs. So you can fly smoothly, efficiently and above all safely with DTS.
OVERHAUL OF COMPONENTS
DTS component overhaul shop is environmentally controlled, meets all DGCA requirements and is DGCA approved. We have been approved by Bell Textron to carry out component overhaul of Bell 206 B III, Bell 206 L series and Bell 407 helicopters. We have also carried out engine CEB modifications on RR 250 series engines and are developing our Engine Overhaul Shop to undertake full engine overhaul facility. You can now overhaul all major components at DTS, at a reduced cost, without the problems and delays involved in the export / import of items.
Quality & Training
A dedicated Quality Control Department and Quality Assurance Department supervises the execution of stringent maintenance practices and procedures. This team constantly monitors the activities of all our personnel to ensure that the highest quality is delivered to the customer.
Deccan regularly holds refresher training courses for engineers. This refresher course is required by the DGCA for all licensed engineers, every two years. A Training Room has been incorporated in the CSF facility for both pilots and engineers. With prior arrangement, it can be made available to your staff.

As an approved supplier of Bell Helicopter Genuine Spare Parts, we have a large inventory at our Technical stores, which helps dramatically reduce down time. By stocking up parts that are most commonly replaced, DTS ensures that your orders reach you within 24 working hours.
LOGISTIC SUPPORT
DTS has a dedicated team to handle all customer requirements. We have a Logistics Team and a dedicated Spare Parts Manager. Anything you require will be sourced and delivered to you in the quickest time possible. With a dedicated Technical Manager based in Bangalore and Field Managers for our customers in and around India, you can expect excellent, speedy service of international standards.
